TCA has Queensland Main Roads Department approved officers available onsite for all of your inspection requirements. Be it compliance and fitment of cranes, tray bodies, air accessories, fifth wheel or Ringfeder installations; TCA can ensure your rig meets and exceeds safety and operational requirements.

TCA also carry out 6 monthly or annual inspections on any type of truck mounted crane. With over 30 years of industry experience and a wealth of knowledge from repairing and refurbishing cranes, our service department have seen and done it all.

We supply and fit emergency stop kits as aftermarket compliant equipment and we recommend the fitment of automatic stabiliser leg secondary locks, to totally eliminate the possibility of legs extending during driving, which can have catastrophic and possibly fatal consequences.

10 Year Certification for Continued Safe Use.

Did you know that by law any crane which reaches ten years of operational life is required to have a ten year inspection? Yeah probably. But you may not have known that TCA is fully endorsed to carry out systematic testing in order to comply with current Australian standards.

TCA specialise in 10 year certifications on truck mounted cranes and internal borer-scope boom inspections. These services are particularly important, as these cranes can rust from the inside - a detail we often see that has been missed by our clients previous service providers.

Let us make sure your rig is ticking all of those boxes.

Structural Integrity Certification to AS2550-11

Australian Standards AS 2550-11 and AS 1418-11 call for structural integrity testing after ten years of operational use.

This encompasses crack testing by an independent NATA approved testing authority and any cracks detected on the structure must be welded and repaired prior to a retesting.
This welding can only be carried out by an approved & certified welder. We fully comply with these regulations and provide statutory documentation accordingly.

It's also possible for a crane to fall out of compliance before it reaches 10 years, if you think something isn't right with your rig, let us take a look!
